Joanne offers a wide range of hair services and has experience working with all hair types and clients, including ladies’ and gents’ hair, relaxing, colour and occasion hair. While she enjoys the variety that hairdressing brings, there’s one service that really stands out: Cutting is Joanne’s absolute favourite! She loves the creativity and precision involved in creating a great haircut and helping clients find a style that works for them.
Joanne is also experienced in hair extensions, including:

✓ Glue-in wefts
✓ Pre-glued extensions
✓ Raccoon extensions
Alongside her hairdressing experience, Joanne is a Wella Colour Master and is qualified in spray tanning, giving her an extensive range of skills to bring to the Studio 74 team.
She is Level 3 qualified and also holds a DET (Diploma in Education and Training), reflecting her years of experience both behind the chair and in education. Joanne is currently gathering her certificates so we can showcase her full range of qualifications and expertise.
Joanne spent part of her career teaching within the industry and loved being able to pass her knowledge on to upcoming stylists. But there’s something special about being back behind the chair.
She says, “I feel incredibly lucky that my lifelong passion for hair and beauty has turned into such a fun, successful career.”
When she’s not at work, Joanne’s home life keeps her pretty busy, but she always makes time for family and friends. She also loves yoga and has actually taught yoga for the past seven years. It’s something she finds helps her unwind, recharge and maintain a positive mindset — something she’s looking forward to bringing into the salon environment too.
Joanne says she can’t wait to meet Studio 74’s existing clients, get to know everyone and become part of the Peterborough community.
